What we actually do

Our main public gathering: singing, prayer, and a sermon drawn from the passage we are working through. Services run about ninety minutes. Anyone may attend — there is no membership requirement and no expectation to give.

A teaching hour that moves through books of the Bible in order, with time set aside for questions. This is the center of our educational mission. Printed study notes are provided free, and new attendees can join at any point in a series without catching up.

• Suited to first-time readers and long-time students
• Runs about one hour

We direct funds, materials, and volunteer time to religious and educational efforts led by others: small congregations without facilities, ministers in training, tutoring and literacy programs, and youth education in the Aurora area. Organizations and individuals may request support in writing.

• Grants of materials, meeting space, or direct funding
• Requests reviewed as they arrive; a written proposal is enough to start
• Send a written proposal to our street address, or bring it to a service, to apply

Prayer, hospital and home visitation, counsel for families in crisis, and referrals to local services for food, housing, and utility assistance. Care is offered to anyone who asks, whether or not they attend our services.
